Documentary Filmmaker | Director | Producer

Welcome to my filmmaking portfolio! Here you can find the projects i've been working on :)

About Me

Hi, I’m Morgan Rhianna. I’m a director, producer and editor based between Nottingham and Manchester.I make documentaries that explore social and political themes through a deeply human lens. I’ve always been drawn to stories that feel raw and real. I grew up watching Vice and gritty YouTube documentaries, the kind that get under the skin of a subject and make you think about the world a little differently.I love discovering interesting groups and subcultures, both online and in person. I take pride in building trust with the people I meet and sharing their stories with honesty and care. There’s nothing more rewarding than creating a film that connects with someone and gives a platform to voices that aren’t always heardI also work in factual TV and Scripted and thrive in fast-paced production environments. I’ve worked on a wide range of projects, from documentaries and factual series to feature films, dramas and music videos. My experience varies from research and production coordination to being a second AD and supporting creative teams in the office and on set.Winning the Rising Talent Award at the 2025 Manchester Film Festival for my documentary Life Beyond Labels was a huge moment for me. It reminded me why I do this work and showed me that the stories I choose to tell matter.Right now I’m developing a few new projects and I’m always looking to collaborate with people who care about telling distinctive, meaningful stories. If that’s you, I’d love to connect.

The two women recount the uncomfortable truths behind one of the most misleading labels in animal agriculture. The film follows their journey, offering a rare glimpse into the lives of animals most people never get to see.[Work In Progress_ Sound Edit Pending]
